Take Back Day is October 26th!

There are many ways you can help keep your community safe. This month, there's a unique opportunity to help address opioid misuse in your area. By properly securing and disposing of unused medications, everyone can help reduce access to medicines that become dangerous when used in ways other than intended and prescribed.

Saturday, October 26 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This bi-annual event serves as a reminder to clean out your medicine cabinet and help keep your family and friends safe.

You can find more information, including collection sites near you, on our Take Back Day page.

If you can’t get to a take back location or you prefer to dispose of medications at home, find out about the other options for proper disposal under the Safe Disposal tab on our site.

Thank you for helping to address the opioid epidemic in your community.
