
The Rx Abuse Leadership Initiative (RALI) of Maine has partnered with Code 3 to bring the RALI Cares educational trailer to several stops throughout the state this month. The effort helps educate community members, especially parents, about the warning signs of opioid misuse among teenagers and young adults.
The trailer is an interactive mock teenage bedroom which parents and community members can visit to see where possible warning signs of substance misuse may be hidden. It’s a useful tool that can help ensure loved ones get help if they are struggling with addiction. Visitors can also speak with former vice cops and local law enforcement staffing the trailer about resources available in their community if they are concerned about their children after visiting.
The RALI Cares trailer is currently scheduled to stop at the following locations in Maine (additional stops will be added as they are confirmed):
